NUAIR Alliance Explains Drone Rules and Regulations

The NUAIR Alliance discussed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation and regulations to residents from around Central New York on November 19, 2015 at The Tech Garden in Syracuse, NY. Larry Brinker and Col. Anthony Basile, two leaders of NUAIR lead the educational session on how to operate an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) safely and responsibly according to FAA regulations.
This holiday season the Federal Aviation Administration expects more than 1 million drones or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to be sold. These are anticipated to be used for both recreational and commercial purposes. But just because drones are becoming cheaper to own and easier to fly, doesn’t mean you can fly it anywhere or for any purpose.
